Nepal Telecom win the 4G battle easily with Ncell Revenue Tax hassle.

Nepal Telecom (NT) plans to launch the fourth generation (4G) mobile telecommunications technology in metropolis and sub-metropolis after Dashain.
The state-run telecom company has already got approval from the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) to start the 4G service.

Introduction of the 4G service is part of NT’s new road map, which aims at improving service quality and expansion. NT will also expand its 3G service across the country, as per its new road map. “It has been more than a year since we requested the NTA to allow us to launch the 4G service,” said NT Managing Director Buddhi Prasad Acharya. “We will kick start the expansion as soon as we get the approval.”

As top rival falling short in Revenue Tax dues Nepal Telecom will be the first company to launch 4G. With just chips and software update most of the tower can transmit 4G service in the short term effort.

Let’s hope better NTC won’t ’t fall down in the 4G battle. NTC has poor history of 3G services when it launched first 3G services in South Asia which was a crap technology in the First launch battle.
